A single vineyard plot in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. The vines are 20 to 25-year-old vines planted in the hillside of Peñagudo mountatin. All native varietals of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha. This specific terroir is composed by clay and calcareous soils and the Peñagudo mountain protects this plot from northern winds, making it ideal for full ripening on the grapes located here.

WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
Intense cherry color with purple hues. This single vineyard shows the typicity of the varietal Tempranillo with fruity aromas highlighting scents of cherry, and blackberry. Very well balanced with Graciano and Garnacha which give freshness and complexity to this wine. Aged 14 months in American oak making this a medium bodied wine with soft round tannins in the mid palate. The sensation on your palate is a perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity, with a long- lasting balsamic finish. A wine that allures you to enjoy a second and third glass!
