Remírez de Ganuza Trasnocho Reserva 750ml
EXPERT NOTES
Rioja Alavesa is the smallest of the three wine-producing sub-regions in Rioja, Spain and is situated to the north of the Ebro River. It is the closest of the three sub-zones to the Atlantic Ocean and thus the one most influenced by its cooling effects. This winery’s unique style is a reflection of its superior plots within the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria, and is distinguished by its use of stringent grape selection methods and use of new French Oak barrels.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
Sweetly spiced berries and charred black fruit flavors are complimented by notes of tobacco and chocolate. Ripe yet ruggid tannis give way to a lengthy and warm finish.
