Senda de Las Damas Tinto
WINE EXPERTS
The same as with the white, the most complete of the reds is the 2020 Finca Senda de las Damas, though it's still too young and a little marked by the élevage of one year in oak. lt's from the same vineyard as the white Viñedo Singular of the same name, a rocky and shallow place in Elvillar where the vines were planted directly on the rock (amazing!) in 1930. lt's ripe and powerful, with 14.5% alcohol and a medium to fullbodied palate with abundant, fine-grained tannins, lively flavors and very good definition. 935 bottles were filled in November 2021.

WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
The vines of "Senda de las Damas", whose plantation was heroic, survive and grow over a large rock with no arable land. It stands on a raised vineyard close to alluvial land with material from the tertiary period. It settles in an area characterized by the vulnerability of very low aquifers, low permeability and low porosity.
