EXPERT NOTES
The 2020 Malbec Reserva is produced with fruit grown in the Chañarmuyo Valley of the Andes. 30% of the vintage was aged in used 500-liter barrel for 12 months. The resulting color is garnet red with a violet sheen. Aromas of quince, prune and dark chocolate have developed as a result of the aging process.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
This wine has a good amount of jammy fruit, plum and cherry with notes of milk chocolate and sweet tobacco spice. Juicy black cherry fruit on the tongue with smooth round tannins and sweet mocha notes through the finish.
