SINGLE VINEYARD
A single vineyard plot in the heart of Txorierri valley in Bizkaia. The vines are 15-years-old and planted to revitalize the ancient varietal Hondarrabi Beltza. We have 8 different clones of this endangered variety. Little by little, these vines are reviving in the place they should have never left. The proximity to the Atlantic sea, and the south east orientation with steep slopes reaching a 20% incline, make ASTOREKA estate a faultless plot. Its soils and the ancestral variety Hondarrabi Beltza make it possible to create Ziaboga Txakoli Beltza, a unique wine, which stands out for its freshness and very marked character.

Light cherry color with purple hues. High aromatic intensity showcasing the Atlantic climate from the origin of the estate Astoreka. This single vineyard shows the typicity of the varietal Hondarrabi Beltza with herbaceous aromas highlighting its fruity scents of currants and raspberries. Light bodied with a soft and velvety mid palate. The sensation on your palate is a perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity, with a long- lasting balsamic finish. A wine that allures you to enjoy a second glass!
